“Starman” is the first single to be taken from “Bowie 70”, the project that David Fonseca conceived in honor of the craving genius of David Bowie with the collaboration of the most important portuguese artists.

For “Starman”, David counts on the participation of Aurea:
“Aurea sings Starman in what is one of the biggest transformations on the album. The version ended up in a funk and soulful atmosphere and I thought that Aurea could give this advantage to the song, that could explore that funky side, more soul, that could bring the song to another territory and I think she did it very well .”

In the subject, one of Bowie’s most popular, the instrumental was all assured by David, being the interpretation of Aurea:
“The music that David invited me to play was a pleasant surprise. It was not as easy to sing as it seemed – the chorus is really very energetic and demands a lot from us. It was more of a challenge and it was great to be able to record this song. ”

The song now released as the first advance of “Bowie 70” also has a video clip captured during the recordings of the project by Filipe Ferreira – see it HERE
