With “Radio Gemini” under his arm, David Fonseca will before the announced celebrations at the Lisboa an Porto Coliseus, present his last record at the cities of Leiria and Coimbra. Published last May, “Radio Gemini” is the starting point for the concerts to be held at the Cine-Teatro José Lúcio da Silva, tomorrow, and at the Convento de São Francisco, in Coimbra, on October 19th.

Unanimously mentioned as his best work of recent years, “Radio Gemini” brings together the essence of a “pop” album – an exciting journey into David’s creativity, with no stylistic boundaries demonstrating an unusual artistic freedom. From vibrant to surprising, from unexpected to solid, from risky to dynamic, “Radio Gemini” is undoubtedly the most dizzying work David Fonseca has published to date, all this after 20 years of his appearance leading the band “Silence 4 “.

It is also that celebration that the shows announced for the Coliseus of Lisbon and Porto for the November 14th and 16th, respectively, will take to stage in the company of chosen guests – the companions of David at the “Humanos” project and also accomplices at “Bowie 70”, Camané and Manuela Azevedo; the partner in the song in “Hold Still” and member of his band during near a decade, Rita Redshoes; Alice Wonder, an emerging voice from the neighboring country that shares with David one of “Radio Gemini” great songs, “Resist”; and of course, some surprises that will be revealed in due time.

Even before the presentations in the mythical rooms, still the opportunity to, included at the parallel program to the “Iconic Bowie” exhibition at ArrábidaShopping, present some very own versions of David Bowie songs, nest time with Marta Ren as guest and after having Catarina Salinas (Best Youth) at the concert done last 26th. We remind you that Sonae Sierra and ArrábidaShopping invited David Fonseca to choose from the heritage of the renowned photography agency Iconic Images, originals from Norman Parkinson, Terry O’Neill, Gerald Fearnly and Markus Klinko have produced over the years from David Bowie.
